Weddings at Mount Ephraim

Mount Ephraim is a family home but is available as a wedding venue for both ceremonies and/or receptions during many weekends of the year. Mount Ephraim does not have in house caterers so all the catering, music and florists can be brought in, plus you can bring your own drink!

The Main Hall is Licensed and is available for ceremonies with or without a reception. The hall can accommodate a maximum of approx a hundred people. The hall is available for ceremonies during the week or on Saturdays. Alternatively, it is possible to have your ceremony in a itlain style pavilion in the garden.

Wedding Receptions
The house is available for receptions on Saturdays and weekdays. The maximum number for the sit down meal is about 100. For larger weddings or by preference receptions can be held in a marquee in the garden. The marquee is usually situated on the front lawn in front of the house which gives wonderful views of the garden and is a truly beautiful site.

It is sometimes requested that the house, particularly the Main Hall, is open for photos or a welcoming drink and guests have use of the inside toilet facilities which can be arranged.

The house is suitable for approximately 100 for formal sit down meals and 150 to a maximum of 180 for a finger or fork buffet. An evening function can take place with music in the central hall with dancing. Other guests can sit and talk in the other reception rooms without being drowned by the music.

There is an attractive bedroom available in the house for the bride and groom to change in and use with their family. The central staircase makes a wonderful entrance for the bride during the ceremony or for a grand farewell when the wedding is over.
