It was a pleasure to photograph the wedding of Louise & Nick at Aberdeen House a couple of weeks back. It was a small, intimate affair with just five guests – so very relaxed and informal. There’s something I really love about these small, weekday weddings with their relaxed schedules and lack of formality.
Afterwards Louise & Nick had booked to have a lunch at The (wonderful!) Royal Harbour Brassiere with their guests, so we shot some fun photos along the seafront and walking along the harbour arm to the restaurant.
Here’s a few from the day – and yes, that is Sir Ian KcKellen you can see in the photos! Honestly, not having been briefed in, it was a bit of a surprise coming face to face with Gandalf himself! Sir Ian gave a wonderful reading during the ceremony (an event in itself!) and I can now honestly tell people “I’ve Directed Sir Ian McKellen!”
