So you’re considering a Maternity Session? Well you’ve come to the right place! We specialise in photographing pregnant ladies, and we hope – our gallery photos will speak for themselves! Let’s address some of the questions you, no doubt, have!
Our studio overlooking Ramsgate Harbour is well-equipped and comfortable. Together with professional lighting and camera equipment, we have a kitchen with teas and coffees, WC and a private changing room. There’s a TV to keep children entertained and a make up station for you to retouch as required. We can even organise a make-up artist at extra cost if you wish,
What sort of photos do we take? It’s up to you, and we’ll discuss this with you before your session. We have lots of lovely dresses, and can also use material to drape and dress you. Of course, we’d encourage you to bring your own choice of clothes as well. If you want discrete, elegant naked photographs, we’ll make sure your modesty is preserved at all times whilst we create these stylish, graceful images.
We recommend you schedule your session between 30-36 weeks when the bump’s prominent and you’ll have plenty of energy. Sessions last around an hour or so, and we’ll shoot a variety of styles, colours and lighting so you have lots of beautiful images to choose from.
Your combined session fee is £99, and included both Maternity and Newborn session with a framed duo of images .

HOW LONG IS THE PHOTOSHOOT?
We schedule 90 minutes for Maternity sessions – however they rarely take longer than an hour. We are a busy studio, so we ask that you arrive on time for your session, otherwise we may have shorten your session or reschedule at an additional cost.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?
If you need to reschedule or cancel we ask that you give us a minimum 72 hours notice so that we can offer your session elsewhere.
CAN I BRING THE FAMILY/PARTNER/DOG?
Of course! But please let us know who is coming. We recommend that if you bring enough adults to entertain the children, as it helps you enjoy the session and get the best possible photographs.
NUDE/SEMI NUDE/FULLY CLOTHED?
This is absolutely up to you, Our first priority is that you feel comfortable. We’re a husband and wife team and if you do want to have some tasteful nude/semi-nude images we make sure you are comfortable and your modesty is protected during the shoot.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
We have lots of lovely outfits but we always recommend bringing some of your own – just in case. We also suggest bringing skin coloured, and black, underwear. Feel free to bring accessories to use such as hats, sunglasses and jewellery.
I'M A LARGER LADY...DO YOU HAVE DRESSES FOR ME?
We have a good range of dresses and some are designed for a range of sizes but we’d recommend that you also bring some of your own pieces just in case they’re not a fit.
DO YOU HAVE HAIR AND MAKEUP ON SITE? CAN I BOOK IN?
We can certainly arrange hair and makeup for you, at an extra charge. We need to allocate extra time in the diary if this is the case so please let us know beforehand, as soon as possible.
WHEN DO WE GET TO SEE OUR IMAGES?
At the end of your session, we’ll arrange your viewing appointment for roughly 7 days later. At your session we will show you about 15-30 images for you to choose from. At this point you can choose your package as well as any wall art. Your products then go into production and will be ready approximately 15-20 days later. We really appreciate it if you let us use some of your images for social media (though of course, there’s no obligation!) and if so, we may post some sneaky peeks on our social media channels a few days after your viewing for you to share.
