Thinking about booking a Maternity Session? You’re in the perfect spot! Our studio, right by the beautiful Ramsgate Harbour, specialises in capturing this special time for expecting mums. Take a peek at our gallery, and you’ll see just what we mean!
Here’s why our studio is just right for you:
- Comfy and convenient: Sit back and relax in our cosy studio equipped with everything you need—snacks, drinks, a TV to keep the little ones busy, and even a spot for a quick makeup touch-up.
- Make it your own: Want a makeover for the shoot? We can arrange a makeup artist for you.
- Your style, your shoot: We chat with you beforehand to make sure the photos perfectly reflect your style. Choose from our collection of gorgeous maternity wear or bring your favourite outfits. If you’re thinking about elegant nude shots, we handle those tastefully and respectfully.
Best time for a shoot: Aim for between 30-36 weeks—that’s when your bump is just right and you’re still feeling energetic. Each session lasts about an hour, giving us plenty of time to try different styles and settings.
What’s included?
- Just £99 includes your session time, use of our large range of dresses and materials, preparation and viewing of your images as well as 3 fully retouched images of your choice.

Your £99 session fee includes a 30 minute session in our studio, use of all of our dresses and outfits, Included partner (children at a small extra cost), preperation and viewing of your images and 3 of your favourite images.

HOW LONG IS THE PHOTOSHOOT?
We schedule 30 minutes for Maternity sessions – however we give a little wiggle room in the diary if we over run. If you wish to bring children we allocate an extra 30 minutes in the diary to give them time to settle in. We ask for a small additional fee of £25 for this. We are a busy studio, so we ask that you arrive on time for your session, otherwise we may have shorten your session or reschedule at an additional cost.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?
If you need to reschedule or cancel we ask that you give us a minimum 72 hours notice so that we can offer your session elsewhere.
CAN I BRING THE FAMILY/PARTNER/DOG?
Of course! But please let us know who is coming. We recommend that if you bring enough adults to entertain the children, as it helps you enjoy the session and get the best possible photographs. We do charge a small fee of £25 to bring children just so that we can extend the session by 30 minutes to give them time to settle in.
NUDE/SEMI NUDE/FULLY CLOTHED?
This is absolutely up to you, Our first priority is that you feel comfortable. We’re a husband and wife team and if you do want to have some tasteful nude/semi-nude images we make sure you are comfortable and your modesty is protected during the shoot.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
We have lots of lovely outfits but we always recommend bringing some of your own – just in case. We also suggest bringing skin coloured, and black, underwear. Feel free to bring accessories to use such as hats, sunglasses and jewellery.
I'M A LARGER LADY...DO YOU HAVE DRESSES FOR ME?
We have a good range of dresses and some are designed for a range of sizes but we’d recommend that you also bring some of your own pieces just in case they’re not a fit.
DO YOU HAVE HAIR AND MAKEUP ON SITE? CAN I BOOK IN?
We can certainly arrange hair and makeup for you, at an extra charge. We need to allocate extra time in the diary if this is the case so please let us know beforehand, as soon as possible.
WHEN DO WE GET TO SEE OUR IMAGES?
At the end of your session, we’ll arrange your viewing appointment for roughly 7 days later. At your session we will show you about 15-30 images for you to choose from. At this point you can choose your package as well as any wall art. Your products then go into production and will be ready approximately 15-20 days later. We really appreciate it if you let us use some of your images for social media (though of course, there’s no obligation!) and if so, we may post some sneaky peeks on our social media channels a few days after your viewing for you to share.
